Weird Weather

November started off fairly nice with warmer than usual temps, some rain but that didn't last long. Last week we had two miserable storms back to back and made a real mess. We had the road and yard plowed and he must have been an amateur because it's a mess. At least the last storm we had was all rain so some of the snow has disappeared but it's still a mess. There's no place for the water to drain off so it just sits there. Maybe we'll get a nice deep freeze and that will take care of those damned potholes.
In other news, there isn't much. I did find some bear tracks pretty close so we are keeping an eye out for that. Maybe it has hibernated but I doubt that, it's been too warm.
The fun and joy of living in the boondocks. I'll take that anytime over the city.

Glad to hear you are surviving the irly winter. Snow and cold are never fun when you are a senior. I can't shovel because I have a broken arm and heart disease, but I do it anyway.

I have an oriental recipe for General Tsao's Bear .... want me to post it for you? We are way colder than normal and had a few inches of snow on the ground. Today we edged closer to the norms and melted off the white crap.

Surviving is what we do. I don't mind the cold as much as I do the snow. It makes everything a mess. I don't shovel any more. Someone else takes care of that.

No, you don't have to post the recipe. Not a big fan of Chinese but you can have the bear if you want it. Enjoy the heat wave, more cold on the way.

I'll take rainstorms over snow any time.

Also the weird seismic activity around Madagascar that triggered a wave that bounced around on the inside of Earth . Did it trigger the big Alaska and 2 much smaller ones in northern BC?
