Chat blocking

So, my idea is expand on the chat blocking.

Do you prefer it the way it is?

Would you rather have it so, when/if you block someone, they also do not see what you type?
Leave it alone
Make it so the blocked person cann't see what you type.

You can delete my response if you wish.

Nope. I just want people to stay on topic. That's another problem here.

    Quoting wiser2:
I would prefer that there also be a limit of one blog post per day - to avoid the inconsiderate practice of "bumping" others' blogs off the new list out of spite or self indulgence. It is entirely OK to upload a post each and every day - and to further amplify your thoughts through comments on your own post if you wish - but multiple separate posts solely for the purpose of monopolizing the new posts under the blogs is not acceptable etiquette.

After all - we all are grown ups and should behave as such, don't you agree?
I very much agree.
Many of the blogs are copy and paste from Wiki and other sites.

Most who blog here are original writings. Many put a lot of thought into their blogs,
only to be wiped away by useless drivel.

We all have wall calendars, we don't need to know about National Toilet Paper Day...

My two cents...

This is a repost from my earlier reply from your blog titled "test".

Dear fellow member Hobgoblin,

I agree with you 100 percent. A block, means just that !! The Privacy feature is useless when the option is "cherry picked" depending on what page the member is viewing.

Furthermore, I have repeatedly made the suggestion and comment to the staff regarding the current blocking option. I am a citizen of "Realityville"! There are members that DO NOT and WILL NOT ever "get along" on this site. That is the reason for all of the "Privacy" options. When a member continues to see other members that are on their blocked list, in any way, then in "Realityville", there is NO FULL BLOCK.

In conclusion, my answer to your question is yes. I really do hope that the awesome OP Administrators view your blog and attaching poll, evaluate the feedback, and make some technical adjustments to the current BLOCKING feature.

I appreciate you putting this blog on the Community Page. Equally, I hope there is a lot of positive feedback and ideas regarding this issue!

Have a great day and rest of the week,
Salvo Avon Buxton

p.s. I will attach your post number to all my blogs so others are able to quickly link back to your entry.

I'm not one to blog much but don'tr zgree with limiting the amount of posts one makes. I feel those that post that much need to reevaluate thier life. Perhaps get a different hobby?

Other than that, I prefer people who post on what I post to keep to the subject. Please remember that in the future.
