DECEPTICON !!!

When you live with someone who doesn't care to eat healthily, especially," leafy green shit." One must sometimes get creative! For example; dinner this evening was a three cheese and spinach stuffed ravioli, Ricotta, Romano, and Parmesan cheeses disguising the nutritious spinach under a pasta crust then seasoned with a chicken Alfredo sauce sporting an array of basil, oregano, fennel, rosemary, peas, and carrots. Someone who hates "leafy green shit' came back for seconds!

Sometimes when I try to take mealtime pictures the photos get bathed in a golden hew, and glistening reflections. This is why.... the Maria Theresa Austrian chandelier above the dining room table .

It began Sunday late afternoon, not too long after we got back from eating. It didn't stop until earlier this afternoon!

Great meal, Bret. Sorry to hear about the impending snow in your neck of the woods. It is snowing and blowing here right now. The windows are plastered with snow so I can't see out. I'll have a look out the door when I let the dog out to pee before bedtime.

Pretty calm & quiet here... Rosie just came in... The calm before the storm those "Texicans" sent up here. JD wanted cinnamon & sugar on piecrust baked in the oven before bed here... so I made it while he was out bedding down the horses. Made some hot cocoa to go with it.

Bret, you and JD need to secure the hatches....if half the rain that we received here, and yes coming your way, turns to snow....get out the big machines for snow clearing!

So far just a half inch of snow but the wind is whipping it around with previous snow making visibility next to nil.

The worst was difting to the East of us but the back side has enough to make it nasty here with subzero temps and blustery winds.
