WTF IOWA!!!!! I had to cook!

Saturday mornings I look at the college football schedule for the day and pick my choices for the day. On the Iowa vs Michigan game I picked Iowa and Husband took Michigan.

Our bet was the loser would cook dinner Saturday night and the winner would pick what the loser had to cook. I normally cook dinner anyway being the great housewife I am but it would have been nice to have Husband cook for a change.

Well I was told by some people that Iowa had a good football team this year, damn liars! Michigan won the game 10 to 3. But as I said I normally cook dinner anyway so I did not really lose anything. At least I got a couple of pats and squeezes on the butt while cooking but I usually get those also.

I might not be Martha Stewart but I keep Husband happy.

Made some peach flavored tea to drink with our meal
it all sounds good, I will take a quart of that tea, heavy on the ice!

I use regular Lipton tea and the syrup from a can of peaches. The syrup is kinda like peach schnapps without the alcohol

Don't blame me... I went to ISU!

Iowa State? I worked with a guy about 30 years ago that said he went to ISU.

I bbq'd 18 large, hot, Italian sausages and had 1/2 of one for supper yesternight with a baked tater. I freeze the cooked sausages and they make for an easy and quick meal when nuked.
Don't know anything about Iowa footballers; just the Iowa cement pad guys.

Well that is keeping things simpler and faster. I all for that!

you have us drooling over here! The aroma of steaks, baked potatoes, and asparagus can't be beat! No way!

The steaks were New York strips. I mean 'were' as in at one time earlier today.

The salad with the exception of the Romaine lettuce came out of our garden.
